Welcome to my Web page.
I'm from this area and I truly understand the needs of our community. There are many things that we’ve managed to improve in how we care for members—many of which, people don't see every day. Even so, we are always striving to improve the care and experiences of our members. I joined Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center in 1997. A lot has changed since then, but one thing that has stayed the same is that my department and I are committed to providing the best possible care to every member.
I currently divide my time between my practice and my administrative role as assistant area medical director for women and children's services. My days are divided up with clinic, surgery, working on labor and delivery, and a few meetings. My team and I work together to make sure every message is answered and every concern addressed no matter what I’m doing that day.
Here are the most important things we all can do—exercise and move as much as you can, eat fruits and vegetables, don’t smoke, wear your seatbelt, put down the cell phone once in a while (especially while driving), wear sunscreen, get your flu shot, and spend some time with good friends. Everyone knows these things, but doing them is the important part.
