About me

Welcome to my Web page! I am glad to have this chance to tell you about myself and my practice.

Biography

I am a Southern California transplant, having moved here from the San Francisco Bay Area to attend UCLA. I worked at UCLA in clinical research for 12 years before deciding to attend medical school as a single mom of a six-year-old, so being a physician is my second career! I am also involved in mentoring UC Irvine medical students, especially those who are in medical school and have children. My time here at Kaiser Permanente is also focused on teaching the family medicine residents minor surgery. I am the Kaiser Permanente Orange County physician champion for a program we sponsor to mentor local middle school students interested in medicine.

About my practice

I feel that as a physician I am here to work with you to help you take better care of yourself and address your medical concerns. Along with my staff, we will work as a team to come up with the solutions that work best for you as a patient.

How I thrive

When I am not at work I like to relax with my family. I also enjoy cooking, sewing, reading, and especially doing any type of home improvement and watching the do-it-yourself shows on cable TV. I love being a lifelong learner.
