Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I work with wonderful colleagues and patients here at Kaiser Permanente, and I look forward to working with you, too.
I moved from Burma to Bakersfield for my residency training, but I fell in love with the sunny weather and made Southern California my home for good. I come from a large family and now have a growing family of my own, including two lovely daughters. I like outdoor activities. I go backpacking every year with my friends. I also volunteer annually as a camp doctor for Boy Scouts. Golf is my favorite sport to play while hanging out with my friends.
About my practice
I practice internal medicine, which means I focus on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of health care issues in adults. My career as a doctor has given me a special chance to connect to and help people in an important way. I feel that listening to my patients and responding to them is an essential part of their health care, as much as my medical skills and knowledge. I consider it a privilege to help my patients and their families understand whatever they might not find clear and ensure that they receive the proper treatments and care recommendations. I feel very honored that they've entrusted me with their care, and my goal is to treat them as I would a friend or family member.
How I thrive
My family life is my major priority. I usually have a busy schedule with my daughters going to piano class, skating class, and, of course, a lot of birthday parties for their friends. I try to squeeze in some time to watch NBA games when I'm not with my kids. I enjoy going to the beach, and backpacking is my way to get out of town during the weekend.
