Kaiser Permanente physician
My gender: Female
Accepting new patients.
Thank you for visiting my Web page. I appreciate the opportunity to introduce myself, and share a bit about my practice.
I grew up in Oklahoma, and came to California to attend college at UC Berkeley, where I fell in love with the West Coast. I majored in biology with a minor in nutritional sciences. After graduating from college, I did medical sales, but did not find it fulfilling. I also tried clinical research at Stanford University. It became clear I wanted to study medicine because I loved being around patients. I completed osteopathic medical school at Touro University in Henderson, Nevada, and did my family medicine residency at Kaiser Riverside.
I strongly believe in preventive care and take a holistic approach to medicine that integrates the body, spirit, and mind. I want to empower my patients to take control of their health and will offer guidance along the way.
I try to practice what I tell my patients: Live a balanced life. Reduce stress whenever possible. Eat a well-balanced diet, and exercise. I enjoy jogging, playing fetch with my dog, cooking, gardening, spending time with family, and traveling the world to experience new cultures.
