Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! Bienvenidos a mi pagina web ! I hope you will find useful information here. Remember, you and Kaiser Permanente are a team, working together for YOUR health. The more you learn about your body and how it works, the easier it will be to make wise decisions about how to feel good and stay healthy. Please explore this Web page for links to useful medical information about how to lead a healthy life. In my opinion the three most important ways to stay healthy are exercise, exercise, and exercise!
I am from East Los Angeles, and have always loved being a family doctor. I graduated from UCLA Medical School in 1985, and completed my family medicine residency at Santa Monica Hospital Medical Center in 1988. Since then I have been lucky enough to have been chosen to be a family doctor at the Kaiser Permanente Fontana medical center.
About my practice
I am the assistant medical director for quality and performance improvement at the Kaiser Permanente Fontana and Ontario Medical Centers. While I miss having my own patients, as I did for more than 20 years, this role allows me to work with others to improve Fontana and Ontario Medical Centers and make them even better by providing high-quality health care.
How I thrive
I exercise every day because it feels great! Sometimes I run at the local high school and once in a great while in 5 or 10K races but it is usually just my iPod and me. I try to practice what I teach and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Besides exercise, I eat delicious and healthy vegetarian food, get my immunizations, check-ups and cancer screenings, and work hard to avoid getting too stressed out.
