Welcome to my Web page. I'm glad to have this chance to present my credentials and tell you about my practice.
I grew up in Southern California and received all my education and training locally. Even though my subspecialty training in pulmonary and critical care medicine was done at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center, let the record show that I am an UCLA Bruin through and through! I completed my undergraduate work in history and physiology at UCLA in 1995, and graduated from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in 2000. I first rotated through Kaiser Permanente as part of my medical student clerkship. I knew then that I wanted to work at Kaiser Permanente.
My practice involves a combination of hospital and clinic work. My interests are primarily in advanced lung diseases, including pulmonary hypertension, lung transplantation, and cystic fibrosis. Medical education is another important aspect of my work. I believe in working in partnership with you to overcome the medical ailments at hand.
I enjoy sports—as both a spectator and an active participant. Basketball, golf, and tennis are my favorites, although these days I mostly manage to stay in shape by chasing my kids around the house.
