Where I practice
Hi, and thank you for visiting my Web page. I’m pleased to have this opportunity to tell you a little about my pediatric practice and myself.
I was born at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center, and raised in the Los Angeles area. I have been a Kaiser Permanente member for my entire life! I have always been passionate about working with children and helping people. Becoming a pediatrician was a goal I set for myself at a young age. I attended UCLA and majored in physiological science. After college, I spent a few years working as a middle school science teacher and then went to the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA to pursue my goal of becoming a pediatrician.
About my practice
As a general pediatrician, I’m fortunate to be able to work with children from birth to age 18. I consider myself a partner to parents in creating a healthy life for their children. Preventive care and maintaining a healthy lifestyle are central to my practice. I also believe in providing the best care when children are sick. I don’t like to keep our members waiting long and I think it’s important for me to be accessible. Parents entrust me with care of their children and this is a privilege I do not take lightly.
How I thrive
Maintaining a well-balanced life is very important to me. I stay healthy by exercising regularly and spending time with my husband, daughter, family, friends, and two dogs. I enjoy dancing, hiking, walking my dogs, traveling, and going to musicals and plays.
