Where I practice
Hi, my name is Justin. Welcome to my Web page. I am glad for the opportunity to introduce myself to you so you can know me a little better.
I was born and raised in a large family, right here in Apple Valley. At 19, I left Southern California and spent a couple of years in South Carolina, where I learned Spanish. I spent the next few years in various states such as Idaho, Oregon, and Nevada, but I was able to come back to Southern California for medical school and residency. I married my wife in 2009, and we now have 4 young children. Our family enjoys spending time together with activities such as rock climbing, riding bikes, snowboarding, and swimming.
About my practice
Our health is an important part of what we experience in life. I believe in the old saying that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of a cure. However, I recognize that many factors are out of our control, and I am here to help when diseases or sickness do arise.
How I thrive
Life can be very demanding. With work, family, and community involvement, how does anyone find time to exercise, eat healthy, and build relationships? It is in finding a balance between all of the rigors of life and balancing personal health and relationships with others that one can truly live well. Otherwise, one is just trying to survive. So how exactly do I thrive? First of all, I strive to start every morning focused on personal development and introspection. I spend time in meditation, looking at personal goals, reading books, journaling, and exercising. By focusing a little on myself early on in the day, it allows me to find balance between the other aspects of life that demand my attention during the rest of the day and throughout the week.
