Hello, and welcome to my Web page! You can call me Dr. Sack or Dr. Sacksteder (Sack-sted-er). It is important you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I grew up in a small town in Michigan. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Western Michigan University; I then worked in San Diego for one year at Inova Diagnostic in research. I attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. I spent my residency year at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier and at USC. I also completed my last two years of training in family medicine at Presbyterian Intercommunity.
I support healthy living and preventive care as the best ways to stay healthy. Five fruits and vegetables a day and 60 minutes of play keeps the doctor away! I'm also here to care for you when you are ill. I look forward to working together with you to care for your health.
Maintaining balance in life is very important to me. I participate in a basketball league with friends, hike, play in the ocean, and spoil my daughters and wife. I am a sports fanatic and cheer for University of Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Tigers, Lions and Red Wings.
