Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. It's important that you have information about and feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I am happy to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice.
I was born and raised in the Philippines and migrated to the U.S., where I received my postgraduate training. I come from a family of physicians; my father was a physician, as were two of his sisters. I am married to another Kaiser Permanente physician who is now retired but still works for the organization per diem. I value being a wife and mother, and Kaiser Permanente offered me the opportunity to tailor my work hours to my family's needs, especially when the children were young. I am very proud to have raised two wonderful boys; one is a lawyer and the other a physician. We love jazz and classical music and enjoy reading and cooking.
About my practice
Practicing medicine is an opportunity to connect with and help people in a meaningful way. To me, helping patients understand their conditions and medical options and communicating well with them and their families is both an important responsibility and a privilege.
How I thrive
I go to the gymnasium five days a week and try to eat healthfully. Reading and listening to classical music and jazz keep my mind active and healthy.
