Kaiser Permanente physician
My gender: Female
Accepting new patients.
Welcome to my Web page. I look forward to sharing some information about my practice and me.
I was born and raised in sunny California. My passion for medicine started when I was young. My brother became ill and the doctor did not take time to exam him thoroughly. As a result, he was later diagnosed with meningitis, and he almost did not make it. The care he received at the hospital was excellent, and the physician there took the time to explain the next steps, while the hospital staff updated us on his care. At that moment, I knew I wanted to be a doctor. I went to UC San Diego for my undergraduate degree and then Western University for medical school. I knew I wanted to practice internal medicine because I wanted to treat the whole patient. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2014, and look forward to treating our members in Kern County.
I love building relationships with my patients. I also love involving them with their treatment plan. They are encouraged to update me on how they are doing. I treat my patients as if they are an extension of my family. If there are other concerns they want to address on their visit, my goal is to spend quality time with them and address their concerns.
I believe balance is key. I strive for balance by being active with my husband and daughter as well as spending quality time with my family. We love going to the park as well as walking around the neighborhood.
