Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. It's a pleasure to have this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I am very fortunate and proud to work at Kaiser Permanente, and I look forward to partnering with you to care for your health.
I was born in Southern California and grew up in the area. After high school, I attended USC for both my undergraduate education and medical school. I eventually completed my residency at UC Irvine and glaucoma training back at USC. When I was in high school, my father had an eye injury. I rushed him immediately to the ophthalmologist, where he was treated. He made a full recovery. That early experience really fostered my interest in the medical field in general, and especially ophthalmology.
About my practice
I truly love my practice here at Kaiser Permanente. I have the privilege of working with my wonderful staff and fellow ophthalmology colleagues to provide high-quality care. I practice comprehensive ophthalmology with a special interest in glaucoma. I focus on practicing medicine based on scientific evidence. I particularly enjoy building genuine, trusting relationships with people.
How I thrive
The foundation of my life is my family, which includes my wife, our two daughters, and our dog Tugger. Most of my favorite activities involve spending time with them. My other hobbies include staying active by playing tennis and golf. I am also an avid sports fan of the Lakers, Dodgers, and USC Trojan football.
