Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am a proud member of the Kaiser Permanente family.
I have a long history with Kaiser Permanente that dates back long before my medical training. I am a Kaiser Permanente baby, born in Los Angeles, and I have received all of my health care growing up with this great organization. I feel fortunate and privileged to be part of such a great place to practice medicine. I grew up in Los Angeles and then headed off for all of my higher education, first at the University of Michigan, where I received my science degree, then on to the University of Illinois for medical school. I later attended the University of Iowa for anesthesia training. After 11 years away from home, I came back out west and completed a fellowship in pain medicine at UC San Francisco. It’s taken a long time, but I finally made it back to sunny Southern California, closer to friends and family.
About my practice
I am an interventional pain physician, with a focus on spine pain. I strive to improve my patients’ quality of life. I am used to taking on challenging cases, and I feel that being a dedicated partner in health with my patients is one of the best ways to help them feel better.
How I thrive
Staying well is all about doing what you love, living your life one day at a time, and reminding ourselves that we are so fortunate for the things that we have. I try to better myself daily. Being healthy is about striving to improve ourselves and live up to our own individual potential in mind, body, and soul.
