Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I hope that after reading this page you will feel that you know me a little better. I enjoy working with my colleagues and patients at Kaiser Permanente, and I look forward to working with you to address your health care needs.
Our family moved to Huntington Beach from Colorado in 1978. Although I graduated from college with an engineering degree, I was always determined to study medicine because I wanted to become a physician like my mentor and hero, my father. I knew that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people's lives, and practicing medicine gives me that opportunity.
About my practice
Medicine as a career allows me to help people in ways that are meaningful, and I am proud to have been recertified with the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2013. Communicating effectively with my patients and their families in order to really understand patients’ needs is important to me. I feel honored that patients have entrusted me with their care, and I strive to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's emphasis on the health and well-being of the whole person, and I try to observe it in my life every day by maintaining a healthy diet, enjoying frequent exercise, and reading. Most of all, I like to spend quality time with my family and friends.
