Welcome to my Web page! I am happy to introduce myself, and share a bit about my practice.
I was born in South Korea, but have lived in Los Angeles since I was a teenager. My studies took me to Michigan and Sacramento; I returned home to Los Angeles after completing my residency training. I have wanted to be a doctor since I was a child. Initially, the science of medicine interested me, but I soon discovered how much I truly enjoy taking care of people and helping them get better.
My areas of interest include treatment of chronic sinus disease and endoscopic skull base surgery. I work with the Neurosurgery Department and perform minimally invasive surgeries for pituitary tumors and other skull base issues. I also work in conjunction with the Ophthalmology Department for treatment of blocked tear ducts and other problems involving the eye and surrounding structures.
I believe that maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important both for the body and the mind. I am a triathlete and have run 13 marathons. My hobbies include skiing and snowboarding. My family is a very important part of my life. My spiritual life is also important; I'm an active member of my local church.
