Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to be able to provide you with some information about my practice and about myself. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I was raised in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, and attended Bates College in Maine for my undergraduate work. I trained in Boston for my medical studies at Tufts University Medical School, followed by my internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. After living in Boston for 10 years, I decided to move to San Diego with my husband to work at Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
In addition to treating members when they become sick, I also strive to take care of my members when they are feeling well by focusing on healthy lifestyle changes and preventive medicine. I work together with members to personalize medical care for each individual. It is a privilege to know and help all of my members.
How I thrive
I stay healthy by trying to achieve balance in my life. I love to unwind by spending time with my husband, family and friends. Our two rambunctious cats keep me thoroughly entertained and smiling (especially after a long day!). To stay fit, I am currently learning how to play tennis. It helps motivate me to stay active when I change up my usual exercise routine. I also enjoy spinning. My favorite hobbies include photography, reading, and especially traveling. I also play classical piano, which I’ve been doing since I was five years old. I believe having a creative outlet, such as music or art, is essential for ones overall general health and well-being. It certainly keeps me thriving.
