Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! I am so glad to have the opportunity to share a little bit about myself, and I hope that this page will help you get to know me.
I grew up in Cleveland and moved to New York City for college, where I met my husband while we were both studying at New York University. We spent some time in Dayton, Ohio, while I attended medical school at Wright State University, but due to my husband’s work in the film and television industry, we ultimately settled down in the Los Angeles area, where we now happily live with our son and dog. I completed my pediatrics training at Kaiser Permanente’s Los Angeles Medical Center (LAMC), including a chief residency year, prior to beginning my work as a pediatric hospitalist here at LAMC.
About my practice
As a pediatric hospitalist, I take care of kids who are admitted to the hospital. Having a sick child is very stressful and difficult, especially if the illness is significant enough to require a hospital stay, and I’ve always been drawn to helping kids and their families during the most difficult of times. In addition to my passion for treating medical illnesses that require hospitalization, I truly enjoy helping kids and families through their hospital stays by being there to listen, guide, and teach during the healing process.
How I thrive
I find my work as a pediatric hospitalist to be very rewarding, and it brings my life so much meaning and joy. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. Whether we are just lounging around or busy running or hiking, our days together are always filled with fun and laughter.
