Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician and as a physician administrator at Kaiser Permanente. I am an emergency medicine physician and have practiced for more than six years at Baldwin Park Medical Center. In 2007, I became chief of service for the Baldwin Park Emergency Department. I feel fortunate to be able to work at Kaiser Permanente both as a clinician, as well as an administrator who is working to make our organization the best health care delivery system in the country.
I am a native Southern Californian who grew up as a Kaiser Permanente member. When I was a young child I believed that I wanted to be a doctor, but I initially followed a different path. I graduated college with a business major and became a certified public accountant. After three years practicing accounting with a large national firm, I decided to go back to school to follow my original dream of becoming a doctor. I enrolled in Columbia University's Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Med Program and began my journey towards becoming a doctor. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.
Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect with people and help them in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. Our team here in Baldwin Park includes physicians, nurses, and other professionals who provide compassionate care in a friendly environment. We want to work with you to address your emergency care needs.
I firmly believe in the philosophy of total health and try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority and I enjoy family outings. I try to eat right and exercise three to four times a week.
