About me

I am board-certified in hematology and medical oncology and currently practice at Kaiser Permanente’s Los Angeles Medical Center. My clinical practice focuses primarily on malignant hematology, and I provide regional expertise through participation in the multidisciplinary Malignant Hematology Tumor Board.

Biography

I completed my medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. I also completed both my internship and residency in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital. I went on to complete my fellowship in hematology and oncology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.

About my practice

My Cancer Subspecialty

My subspecialty focus is in malignant hematology. I contribute national expertise by serving on multidisciplinary cancer teams, offering consultative support and collaborative input on complex hematologic malignancies across the region.

Research and Clinical Trials

I am actively involved in cancer research as a sub-investigator for the National Cancer Institute’s Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP). I participate in clinical trials and research initiatives through membership in national cooperative oncology groups including SWOG Cancer Research Network, NSABP (National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project), NRG Oncology, and the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology.

How I thrive

I thrive by maintaining a healthy balance between a demanding medical practice and personal well-being. I prioritize regular exercise, mindful practices such as meditation and prayer, and quality time with family and friends.
