Kaiser Permanente physician
My gender: Male
Accepting new patients. Referral may be required.
I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the division of infectious diseases. I have been with this division since July 2002 and have enjoyed my time here. The members of Kaiser Permanente have made my practice interesting and rewarding.
I was born in the Inland Empire, but grew up near the Dallas/Fort Worth area, in a small town in Texas. I attended school in Keene, Texas from first grade straight through college. I then got my medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. My internal medicine training was also at Loma Linda University Medical Center, and my infectious diseases fellowship was completed at UC Irvine. I am a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America.
We work with your primary care physician and other subspecialists to assist you in maintaining your health. Our specialty works to identify and treat infections that arise from exposure to infectious diseases or that follow surgical procedures. I see patients in the hospital and also in outpatient clinic. Beyond patient care, I am also actively involved in antibiotic utilization and infection control at Kaiser Permanente.
When I'm not at work, I relax at home with a good book.
