Hello and welcome! Thank you for taking the time to visit my Web page and to get to know me better.
I was born in the Midwest. My parents are physicians, and for their training we moved from the Midwest to New York and then finally to Southern California. I am not a native, but this is home .After observing my mother in her clinical practice (she has retired from her practice in pediatrics), I knew I wanted to become a physician. I completed my medical studies in Northern India, where my family is originally from. I not only learned about medicine, but also about my background and culture. I became very close with family members who still live there. Living in a developing country for six years is very humbling. After completing my residency, I started working for Kaiser Permanente and I am extremely happy. I don't see myself working anywhere else. I am married with two young daughters. Some of my hobbies are knitting, crafts (like painting, nothing extravagant), scrapbooking, traveling, reading novels, dancing, and cooking.
Every person at every level is an important part of our team. Getting everyone's input is important, especially the patient's input. I believe one should be a good listener. You know yourself best and we could learn a lot about you from you! We try to involve every member of our team in your care.
I do believe in biofeedback. I believe that if you have the will, you'll have a way. My family is my backbone and my priority. I try to enjoy my daughters and participate in different outdoor and extracurricular activities with them.
