About me
Welcome! I am a certified nurse-midwife (CNM), and I’d like to tell you more about my role at Kaiser Permanente! I am a highly trained healthcare professional who cares for you before, during, and after your pregnancy, as well as delivering your baby. For your well-woman care needs I perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat illnesses, prescribe medications, order and interpret lab tests, provide family planning, and birth control counseling. As part of our team-based care model at Kaiser Permanente, I work with physicians as a valuable part of your care team.
Biography
I grew up in La Habra, California, and still consider it home. Outside of work, I am a wife and mother, and my family is at the center of my life. Our days are filled with soccer, BMX travel, and plenty of adventures. Being a mother has given me a deep appreciation for the emotions, joys, challenges, and transitions that come with pregnancy, birth, and life beyond. I have always been drawn to women's health and the opportunity to care for women during some of the most meaningful experiences of their lives. I am especially proud of helping grow and strengthen the midwifery practice at Kaiser Permanente and contributing to a model of care that supports patients while fostering strong collaboration across the health care team. I have also taken a leadership role in bringing group prenatal care to patients, creating opportunities for education, connection, and community during pregnancy.
About my practice
I provide comprehensive women's health care across the lifespan, including reproductive health, contraception, pregnancy, labor and birth, postpartum care, and support through perimenopause and menopause.
My philosophy is centered on listening first, building trust, and partnering with patients in their care. I believe every woman deserves to feel heard, respected, and informed about her health and choices. I strive to provide evidence-based care while recognizing that every patient brings their own values, experiences, concerns, and goals to the health care relationship.
I value close collaboration with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other members of the care team. I believe some of the best patient care happens when we work together to create safe, individualized care for each patient.
How I thrive
When I'm not caring for patients, I enjoy spending time with my family and being present for my children's soccer games, BMX races, and school activities. These experiences help me recharge, stay grounded, and remember the importance of connection, which I bring with me into my work every day.
