Where I practice
Hello, and thank you for visiting my Web page. It is my pleasure to tell you a little bit about myself. I am honored to be a Kaiser Permanente physician in San Dimas, and I hope this page will help you get to know me better.
I was born in Japan and moved to Seattle when I was 8 years old. I had the great fortune of being raised by 2 hard-working parents who taught me and my sister the value of caring for others. In many ways, they sowed the seeds of my ambition for a career in medicine, and that motivation took me all across the country, first to the University of Washington, where I earned my undergraduate degree, and next to Rowan University School of Medicine in New Jersey, where I attained my medical degree, and finally to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center’s family medicine residency where I further honed my craft in primary care. Throughout the journey, I maintained a number of positions in the medical field, including patient care coordinator and nursing assistant, before arriving at my dream of becoming a family physician. As a member of the Kaiser Permanente family, I join a renowned group of talented individuals whose goal is to provide high-quality care to a healthy community.
About my practice
I want to be a cornerstone of the community. I strongly believe in preventive medicine, and I am passionate about working with members to achieve their medical goals. Primary care gives me the opportunity to work with people in every facet of their lives. It is my privilege to serve as a facilitator, and I look forward to becoming a partner in your health care.
How I thrive
I live well through the 3 Fs: friends, family, and food. Nothing quite compares to enjoying a nice meal with the people closest to my heart. When I am not with them, you can find me traveling, playing basketball and football, or enjoying a stroll through the park with my dog.
