Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my cardiology practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I’m a native of New York City. After college, I attended the Universidad de Monterrey in Mexico for four years. From there, I returned to New York City where I trained in internal medicine and cardiology at Maimonides Medical Center. I decided to move to Southern California because it’s always been a favorite place for my wife and me. In addition, Kaiser Permanente offered me the opportunity to continue the cutting-edge medicine I’d learned to practice in New York. I have a wife and kids, and three golden retrievers.
A career in medicine is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. Being a doctor, I’m privileged to have members share with me their innermost concerns and hopes. I consider communication to be a crucial part of my practice. I feel honored to help members with their concerns, to translate aspects of the situation that are hard to grasp, and to make it easier for them to get the evaluations they need. My members have entrusted me with their care and I strive to treat them as I would my own family.
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's emphasis on a healthy, balanced lifestyle and try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings to the beach and walking with my wife, our daughters, and our dogs. I’m an avid photographer and act as the key photographer for the Riverside Martin Luther King High School band and color guard. My family and I enjoy summer trips to Hawaii and the East Coast, but nothing beats quiet family time at home. My hobbies include guitar, photography, racquetball, and collecting Coca Cola memorabilia.
