About me
Greetings! My name is James, but I am known as Dr. Ngo. I have practiced for more than 19 years in the Antelope Valley. My work is a labor of love. I am genuinely excited to start working every morning. I hope this page gives you a better sense of my background and my dedication to women's healthcare.
Biography
I spent my early years in Vietnam. I came to the United States in 1978. I grew up in Philadelphia and then in Los Angeles. I attended UC Berkeley. My passion for healthcare led me to pursue my medical degree. I completed my medical education from St. George's University School of Medicine in 2002 and residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in 2006. I have been practicing as an obstetrician/gynecologist since 2006. Providing women's healthcare is more than a job — it is where I find my greatest satisfaction. Having the opportunity to care for women is a deeply rewarding responsibility that I value immensely. In addition to English, I speak Vietnamese.
About my practice
My approach to women's healthcare is rooted in the belief that every member deserves an advocate. Having grown up in Vietnam, I learned early on the importance of community and listening. In my practice, my work ethics are defined by active listening and empathy. I believe that understanding a woman's unique story is just as important as the clinical diagnosis. For me, medicine is not just about treating a condition but about empowering women to make informed decisions about their own bodies. I place high priority on preventive care and patient education as well as emphasis on reproductive health and managing the transition to menopause.
How I thrive
In my personal life, I am a firm believer in the outdoors, whether it's a quiet walk in the park or jogging. Coming from a background where family and food are central, I love spending my evenings experimenting with recipes or sharing a meal with my family. I enjoy listening to my children playing the violin.
