Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and our members, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I was born in Seoul, South Korea, and came to this country at the age of 13. I graduated from UC Irvine and completed medical school at New York Medical College. I completed my OB/GYN training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and received my gynecological oncology training at MD Anderson Medical Center. I was inspired to pursue a career in medicine from an early age by my mother, who bravely dealt with a serious illness from the time I was in high school.
I am involved full time in providing gynecological oncology care to Kaiser Permanente at the Baldwin Park Medical Center. This includes seeing members in an office setting, performing necessary surgery, and administering needed chemotherapy to members dealing with cancers of the female reproductive system.
I enjoy morning runs on my treadmill to recharge my mind and my spirit. I value my time with my family and spend weekends with my husband and 2 daughters visiting Disneyland or Big Bear Lake. I enjoy nature and live well by hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter
