Where I practice
About me
I am a board-certified hematology/medical oncology physician at Kaiser Permanente’s Fontana Medical Center. I am dedicated to caring for individuals with all types of cancer and benign blood disorders. My goal is to provide compassionate, high-quality, and personalized care through trust, empathy, and open communication.
Working with a multidisciplinary team, I focus on delivering individualized treatment plans that are based on evidence and current research and that support members and their families through every stage of their care journey.
Biography
After completing my fellowship, I moved from Pennsylvania to Los Angeles, drawn by the sunshine and vibrant community of Southern California. I live here with my wife and daughter, and our family philosophy is simple: “Do good, be good.”
My decision to specialize in hematology and oncology grew from a deep compassion for people and a desire to guide patients and families through complex diagnoses with clarity and hope. I believe an oncologist must first be a human being, someone who listens and cares, before being a doctor.
About my practice
At Kaiser Permanente’s Fontana Medical Center, our cancer care combines innovation, precision, and compassion. We integrate advanced treatments such as targeted gene therapy and immunotherapy with traditional therapies like chemotherapy and radiation oncology to create individualized plans for each member.
Our team approach brings together specialists in medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgery, and pathology to develop strategies. I also participate in clinical research through the National Cancer Institute’s Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP), contributing to national studies with the SWOG Cancer Research Network, the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP), the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, and NRG Oncology.
My clinical expertise includes the management of hematologic malignancies, solid tumors, and benign blood disorders, including breast, lung, thymic, head and neck, genitourinary, skin (including melanoma), thyroid, and endocrine cancers.
I am a member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), which keeps me connected to the latest advancements in cancer research and clinical innovation.
How I thrive
I find balance through lifelong learning, often reading or listening to audiobooks for inspiration and peace. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling with my family to appreciate the beauty of nature and the joy of the journey.
I am also passionate about cooking, especially Middle Eastern cuisine. I see each recipe as both an art and a science creative way to connect, share stories, and nourish both body and soul.
