Welcome to my Web page. This is an opportunity for me to briefly introduce myself and describe my practice. I sincerely hope this page provides you with the information you need if you are looking for a new physician.
I was born in Seattle and moved to Los Angeles with my family when I was in elementary school. I originally decided to become a physician because it was a way in which I could help the poor and underserved. I also had an affinity for math and science. Since I consider myself a "people person," this was a perfect way to integrate many of my goals and talents. I'm married and have three children who are absolutely the light of my life. I enjoy many hobbies, including skiing, basketball, reading, chess, and swimming.
My practice philosophy involves to a significant degree my aforementioned goals and motivations for becoming a physician. I like to establish open communication with my patients, as it facilitates better understanding and helps in diagnosis and treatment.
My hobbies are part of what allow me to stay fit and well. I also do regular high- and low-impact aerobic exercise, including tennis and basketball with my now-adult children (when they’re around), who are all in various graduate schools across the country. My family and I attend First AME Church for part of our spiritual health and growth.
