Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! The purpose of this page is to introduce myself and describe my practice. I’m fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente with other committed physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff. Together, we look forward to helping you attain good health.
I attended medical school in China, where I was born. After practicing medicine at a university hospital for about 10 years, I decided to come to the United States. I spent several years at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and then UCLA, as a research fellow. Later, I completed my anesthesiology residency training at USC. I ultimately fell in love with the sunny weather of Southern California and decided to make it my permanent home.
About my practice
It’s a privilege to help members understand the anesthetic they will receive and also to help alleviate any concerns they may have regarding anesthesia. The field of anesthesiology allows me the opportunity to evaluate members before their surgery, take them safely through their anesthetic in the operating room, and address their needs in the recovery room. I feel very honored that members have entrusted me with their care, and I strive to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. My wife, two sons, and I enjoy family outings to Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers games, and my son’s basketball games. We also enjoy camping trips and go to the gym together. I try to remain active with my local basketball team. I’m a runner and swimmer, and now I participate in the annual Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Triathlon.
