About me

Welcome to my Web page. I hope that you will find the information posted here useful and informative. I am proud to be a part of the Southern California Permanente Medical Group, and I look forward to providing friendly, personalized care to every one of the members that I treat.

Biography

I was born and raised in Southern California, and have lived here all of my life. After high school, I attended UC Riverside where I earned my bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences. I then went on to graduate from medical school at UCLA. I chose to pursue a career in medicine because of my love of science and my desire to help others.

About my practice

As your physician, I believe that you and I are in a partnership to bring you the best possible health care. My job is to assess your needs, educate you about your health, provide you with the tools and services to keep you healthy, and to mend you when you are sick. I hope that if I do my job well, you will be motivated to take a proactive part in your own life by doing everything you can to keep yourself in good health. I believe in having a balance between career, family, and free time.

How I thrive

Although I love my practice, I also love spending time with my husband, our two children, and our friends doing activities such as hiking, gardening, and traveling. Places I have traveled include Thailand, Peru, Kenya, Tanzania, Chile, Argentina, and Costa Rica. I find exercise not only helps to keep my body healthy, but also my mind. It is a great way to release stress, which allows me to be in the best frame of mind to take care of all of your needs.
