Where I practice
Hi there! My name is Gloria. Welcome to my Web page.
I am a first generation Mexican-American. I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles County, where I grew up in a Spanish-speaking household in a primarily immigrant and Mexican community. As for many in my community at the time, financial resources were limited when I was growing up, so regular medical care was unfortunately not always a priority. One of the reasons I chose to pursue medicine was because I understood its importance in helping people thrive and because I wanted to give back to my community. Though I consider myself fortunate to have attended Brown University in Rhode Island for college, medical school, and residency, I am happy to be back in Southern California, where I can be close to my parents, siblings, nieces and nephews!
About my practice
I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I'm also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. Some of my hobbies include reading sci-fi novels and learning how to play the piano. I'm also an amateur restorer of fountain pens. I enjoy hiking and dabbling in photography, but mainly I love spending time with the nieces and nephews!
