Where I practice
Greetings! Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I hope this page will help you start to get to know me, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I was born in Vietnam, but spent my childhood in Colorado, along with my three younger siblings. After completing medical school in St. Louis, I did my general internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship in Chicago. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2004 and have happily work as a staff physician at Kaiser Permanente’s West Los Angeles Medical Center.
About my practice
We have a great team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and specialty staff in our department. My practice is mostly in the outpatient clinic setting, but I also can be found taking care of hospitalized patients as well as patients in the outpatient dialysis centers. I enjoy teaching my patients about their health and kidneys.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is important to me. This includes maintaining close relationships with my family and friends as well as trying to continue learning and growing myself. I like to travel, explore national parks, play golf, watch science fiction movies, and to cook. I’m married to a Spaniard, and we have a happy baby girl.
