Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I feel very fortunate to be a Kaiser Permanente physician because of the wonderful members and colleagues. I am a family medicine physician with many administrative responsibilities, but I strive to take care of members by helping Kaiser Permanente become a stronger health care system. I could not imagine doing anything different in my life.
I knew that I wanted to become a doctor since the age of 5. I have completed all my education in California, including my bachelor of science at UC Riverside, master's degree in public health at UCLA, medical school at Western University, and serving as chief resident in family medicine at USC. I have enjoyed volunteering as a physician at local community-sponsored events for the underserved. I love to travel domestically and internationally with my wife and 2 children.
About my practice
My practice of medicine covers members from newborns to seniors. I try to embrace members’ journey of life and be their physician, coach, and friend as they go through every stage of their lives. I truly enjoy seeing a newborn in one exam room and then a senior member in the next room—as well as every age in between. I have special interest in sports medicine, asthma, pediatrics, and women's health.
How I thrive
I enjoy practicing what I preach regarding daily exercise. Some of my adventures include bicycling some of the segments in the Tour de France and local centuries, participating in the Los Angeles Triathlon, running the Disney Half-Marathons, swimming, snow skiing, hiking Half Dome and Mount Whitney and Rim to Rim at Grand Canyon, and just about anything outdoors.
