Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente with wonderful colleagues and patients, and look forward to partnering with you to care for your health.
I was born in Mexico, and spent my childhood there. My formative years were spent in the Inland Empire. I graduated from Fontana High School, and attended college at UC Riverside, where I studied biochemistry. I received my medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. I completed my family practice residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in San Bernardino County.
About my practice
I take a comprehensive approach to medicine. In addition to health screenings, identifying health issues, and managing risk factors, I understand the important roles that mind, diet, and lifestyle play in regard to health. I practice preventive medicine and treat the whole person, as opposed to individual symptoms. I speak Spanish fluently, which gives me the opportunity to work closely with Spanish-speaking members. I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of health in mind, body, and spirit, and try to live it in my life every day.
How I thrive
My wife and I have very active lifestyles. We enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and running. We also make it a priority to set aside time to just relax and read a good novel.
