Where I practice
I’m glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It’s important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you get to know me so we can work together to care for your health.
I immigrated to Los Angeles from the Philippines as a child, and I actually grew up as a Kaiser Permanente member. I wanted to be a doctor because I wanted to be able to make a difference in people's lives. My wife and I have three kids. We try to live locally but think globally—we ride bikes or walk to work, school, or errands, and tend to support local community efforts. When I teach students and resident doctors, I emphasize three points—remember that patients are people, that medical information must be kept up with, and that members should always be treated the way you would want to be. If you decide to see me, I hope we can work together to care for your health—with my advice and guidance steering you toward your health goals.
About my practice
My medical practice offers me a very special opportunity to connect with and help people. I believe a physician's best tool is listening and responding to what members need. Of course, I temper member expectation with my experience and expertise, but I will always speak to you or your family the way I would want to be treated if I was the patient.
How I thrive
Caring for my family is how I stay balanced. I exercise, garden, and spend time with them so we all can grow and prosper together. If my family is strong, the other circles of my life—including caring for my members—will be strong as well.
