Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am excited to have this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you about my practice.
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Because there were many doctors in my family, I always wanted to become a physician. I did my undergraduate and medical school studies at the University of Pittsburgh and, during my medical school training, fell in love with the field of ophthalmology. I completed my ophthalmology residency at UC Irvine and attended USC for a fellowship in glaucoma. I practiced at USC for two years and joined Kaiser Permanente in 2009.
I love the field of ophthalmology in general, but my practice mostly focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. I perform various types of glaucoma incisional and laser surgeries as well as cataract surgery. I feel very lucky and blessed to be able to practice ophthalmology for a career, and for me, my work is a very important and valued part of my life.
Outside of work, my family is the most important part of my life, and I try to spend as much time with them as possible. I also love to travel, read, take walks, and play golf.
