Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page.
I believe that the practice of plastic surgery is a great honor, privilege, and sacred responsibility-it continues to give me an enormous amount of joy and satisfaction. For me, plastic surgery is the quintessential joining of form and function and fits perfectly into my love of art and esthetics. There are few more rewarding endeavors than using your hands to surgically restore the normal in a person's appearance, and with it, their self-esteem and quality of life.
About my practice
I received both a dental and medical degree in a combined program at the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. I completed a residency in general surgery and a fellowship in head and neck surgery at the Montifiore Medical Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. This was followed by a residency in plastic surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. In my practice, I have concentrated on the reconstructive surgery of the head and neck, with special expertise and interest in ear reconstruction.
How I thrive
I completely agree with Kaiser Permanente's emphasis on a well-rounded life. I play tennis and basketball and go skiing whenever the opportunity arises. A balanced lifestyle that includes time for family, physical exercise, and time off is a critical element in maintaining good health and sustaining a rigorous surgical career.
