About me

Welcome. I hope this Web page will provide you with some useful information about myself and give you an idea about some of my goals and my philosophy as a pediatrician.

Biography

I was born in Michigan but have been living in the Los Angeles area for most of the past 35 years. I went to college in Berkeley for four years then returned to Southern California to attend UCLA School of Medicine. One of the reasons that I became a pediatrician is because children, at their young age, are still learning values and developing habits that will shape their health for many years to come. As a pediatrician, I hope to be a positive influence for my members during these formative years. I also enjoy the opportunity to provide encouragement and guidance for parents who, like myself as a parent of three children, encounter the seemingly endless challenges of raising healthy and responsible children.

About my practice

In my clinical practice, I take care of patients from birth through age 17, managing a wide range of medical problems. I also take the time to discuss preventive care with patients and their parents, which I feel is extremely important for a person's overall health.

How I thrive

Maintaining a well-balanced, healthy lifestyle is one of my philosophies as a pediatrician; this is also a principle that I try to live by in my own life. Running and playing tennis are a couple of things that I do regularly to stay active.
