Where I practice
Hi, welcome! Kudos for doing your research on your physician! I think it is really important for you to be comfortable with whom you'll be sharing personal stories with so hopefully this Web page helps.
I was born in Taiwan and came to Los Angeles with my parents when I was eight years old. I am an only child. My husband and I have been together for 20 years and we got married in Hawaii, our favorite vacation spot! We have a one-year-old daughter that we just adore! All of my education and medical training was in California. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a major in molecular and cell biology. I then moved to San Diego and attended UCSD School of Medicine. I finished my residency here at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center and absolutely loved my experience, so much that I decided to stay on as attending and associate residency program director.
About my practice
I love my job! I am a lifelong learner and chose medicine for that reason. The field of Ob/Gyn is unique in that we form special bonds with our patients. I believe in patient autonomy and I am here to guide you to make the best decision regarding your health.
How I thrive
Before I was a mom, I loved yoga, shopping, trying new restaurants and getting pampered at the spa! Now there's not enough time in the world for that! But I enjoy playing and acting silly with my daughter, and coming up with healthy recipes that she will enjoy.
