About me
Thank you for taking the time to visit my Web page. Finding a physician you feel comfortable with and trust is a very personal choice, and an important part of your health and wellbeing. I hope the information I have shared here will give you a good sense of who I am, and help you in making that decision.
Biography
I was born and raised in Southern California, and received all of my education and training in Los Angeles. I earned my bachelor's and medical degrees at UCLA, and completed my residency at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center. I was accepted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and am board-certified in internal medicine. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, I had an academic appointment at UCLA, teaching medical residents and students at Los Angeles County's UCLA Olive View Medical Center.
About my practice
I strive for a broad and deep understanding of each patient, and this is best achieved through a long-term comfortable, relaxed, and trusting partnership. It is those partnerships, I believe, that are the key in delivering the very best healthcare, and providing my patients with the tools and the knowledge to take charge of their health.
How I thrive
I love spending time with my two boys – my husband and my son. My family and I have a lot of fun outdoors bicycling, hiking, skiing, and swimming in the ocean. We enjoy traveling to experience new places and cultures. I also love good food – particularly discovering new restaurants that offer wonderful ethnic cuisine – one of many great reasons to live in Los Angeles! For a little peace and relaxation, there is nothing better than being in my garden tending to my roses and vegetables.
