Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! It is a privilege to serve you here at Kaiser Permanente Vision Essentials. Thank you for entrusting us with the health of your eyes.
I like to tell members that I've been at Kaiser Permanente my whole life (I was born at the South Bay Medical Center). I've always admired my father, who served in the Pediatrics and Allergy Departments at South Bay Medical Center. Though college and optometry school took me up to the Bay Area for almost a decade, I'm happy to have settled again here in Los Angeles. When I'm not taking care of members' eyes, I enjoy discovering L.A.'s diverse cuisine, camping, and traveling abroad to serve underserved communities.
About my practice
Once I discovered that the skills of optometry help us preserve the health of our eyes and improve our unique sense of sight, it's been my passion to educate members about their eyes. Here at Kaiser Permanente, we have the honor of working with members of diverse ethnic backgrounds, from the very young to the very wise! I also love working with the visually impaired by assessing for optical and electronic visual aids to enhance independent living, and counseling on community-based resources for further rehabilitation.
How I thrive
To take care of myself, I enjoy running on the treadmill and going out to the beach. I also love catching up with old friends and investing in new friendships.
