Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente, and I look forward to working with you as well.
I was born in Vietnam and also lived in the Ivory Coast, Hong Kong, and Alabama before settling in beautiful California—where I went to college and medical school, and did my residency in internal medicine. I majored in German while in college, but I’ve not yet had the opportunity to use this language in my practice. I also learned medical Spanish during my residency at Olive View–UCLA Medical Center. My parents were both physicians, and my mother has just retired.
About my practice
I’m a hospitalist—I take care of you if you happen to be admitted to the hospital. And when you’re well enough to go home, I’ll notify your primary care physician of your admission and how things went during your hospital stay.
How I thrive
I thoroughly enjoy yoga and try to practice three times per week. I find that yoga keeps my body flexible and gives my mind a serene calm that allows me to deal with Los Angeles traffic and other stressors of city living. Playing with my dog, hiking with my dog, and cooking are the other joys of my life. Once in a while I indulge in 1000-piece jigsaw puzzles.
