Where I practice
I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1997 and really enjoy being part of it because of all the great coworkers and members here. I look forward to working with you to keep your family healthy and happy.
I grew up primarily in Northern California. I wanted to be a pediatrician because when I was a teenager, I developed a very close friendship with my pediatrician who cared for me after I was in a car accident. I am healthy today thanks to the great care of that doctor. I strive to provide the same great care to my patients.
About my practice
I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay well! I am also here to help your family when they are sick—but I hope the well-child visits greatly outnumber the other kind. I enjoy mentoring and teaching medical students and residents in our residency program here at the Los Angeles Medical Center. I have a special interest in obesity prevention and wellness.
How I thrive
My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings with my husband and three children. We enjoy trips up to Lake Arrowhead or various local beaches. I truly believe exercise is very important in maintaining a healthy life. I enjoy hiking with our dogs (rescued from animal shelters). I believe strongly in environmental awareness and try to go green in many ways to preserve the Earth’s resources for our little ones. Our efforts make a big difference in preserving the Earth for them!
