About me

Welcome! I am a nurse practitioner (NP), and I’d like to tell you more about my role at Kaiser Permanente.  I am a highly trained healthcare professional who performs physical examinations, diagnoses and treats illnesses, prescribes medications, orders and interprets lab tests, and provides education and counseling. As part of our team-based care model at Kaiser Permanente, I work with physicians as a valuable part of your care team.

Biography

I spent my childhood in the Philippines before moving to Sparks, Nevada, and I have fond memories of both places. I enjoyed the beautiful natural surroundings in the Philippines and the snow and outdoor activities in Nevada. I now live in Mission Viejo and appreciate the beautiful surroundings, mild weather, and easy access to both the coast and the outdoors.

I chose nursing, and later became a nurse practitioner, because I enjoy helping people improve their health and quality of life. Building relationships with patients and making a meaningful difference in their care is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I began my career as a registered nurse and later earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, reflecting my commitment to lifelong learning and evidence-based care. I also enjoy being involved in the nursing and nurse practitioner community through professional organizations, mentoring, and community health education.

About my practice

I practice family medicine and see a wide range of health needs, including common acute and chronic conditions. My focus is preventive care, health maintenance, and helping patients manage their health over time. I believe good health care starts with listening and understanding what matters most to each patient. I am drawn to Kaiser Permanente’s commitment to whole-person care and early intervention. Truly, my goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care and work together with patients to develop realistic treatment plans.

How I thrive

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, swimming, jogging, cooking, and being outdoors. Staying active and spending time with loved ones helps me maintain balance and recharge so I can return to work feeling refreshed and energized.
