Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! I have been working at the Mission Viejo Medical Offices since 2007. I enjoy meeting new people every day, as well as fostering relationships with the patients that I’ve known for several years.
I was born in Belgium and traveled with my family to Southern California at the age of 2. We moved to San Diego, where I spent the next 16 years of my life. I attended UCLA, just a short drive away from home. After college, I again left the United States to attend medical school in the West Indies at St. George’s University School of Medicine on the island of Grenada, where I met my husband! He’s also from Southern California — what a small world. We moved back to Southern California for training in 2004 and have been here ever since!
About my practice
I feel that preventive medicine is the best way to stay healthy, in addition to taking part in a healthy lifestyle. Exercise and eating right are things that you can do to keep your body in the best shape. My role as a physician is to be your partner in health, which includes addressing any health concerns you have, scheduling appropriate screening tests, and developing a plan with you to improve your health.
How I thrive
I believe in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I do this by spending time with my family (I have two active young boys), engaging in outdoor activities, such as hiking and camping, and taking part in aerobics classes as often as I can.
