About me
Hello, my name is Dr. Devin Dabiesingh. A lot of patients sometimes refer to me simply as Dr. Singh. Welcome to my Web page. I look forward to working together with you to improve and maintain your health.
Biography
I grew up on the Caribbean island of Trinidad, and then moved to New York. After medical school in Southern Florida, I returned to New York City to complete my training in medicine and cardiology. Having never left the East Coast before, my future wife (who is also a Kaiser Permanente physician) persuaded this “gritty New Yorker” to move back home with her to Southern California promising great people and great weather. As usual she was right. Following completion of a very busy cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, I was fortunate to join the growing team of Kaiser Permanente cardiologists and cardiac electrophysiologists serving the Inland Empire region.
About my practice
As I child I never dreamed of becoming a doctor. In fact, I was the first in my family to go to college and, at the time, that was exciting enough for me. I did know I enjoyed learning the details behind everything, and using that knowledge to help others find solutions to problems. With this as my foundation, and from benefit of great role models and patients over the years, I matured into and found purpose as a heart rhythm specialist. Although my field involves sometimes very complex principles, invasive procedures and device surgery, the greater part of my work is centered on providing information and building a relationship with you. While my focus is on diagnosis and treatment of your abnormal heart rhythm, I am grounded in both general cardiology and internal medicine and will strive to develop as complete a health plan for you whilst working closely with your referring physician.
How I thrive
My wife and I have made Southern California our home and appreciate all it has to offer. Together with our dogs, we enjoy the outdoors all year round, whether cycling, hitting the beaches, hiking the hills, working on our house, or just lounging in the backyard. And we never pass up the opportunity to travel and try various cuisines (vegetarian for me, practically everything else for her). But if my Mets, my Knicks or my NY Giants are playing you’ll most likely find me cheering from the couch. You can drop a “gritty New Yorker” in sunshine, but you can’t take away his “home” teams, as bad as they can sometimes be.
