Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page.
I was born in Beijing, China, and came to the United States when I was four years old. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and earned my undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley. I attended medical school at UC Irvine, and finished my head and neck surgical residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. I followed my residency with a fellowship in advanced endoscopic surgical techniques of the paranasal sinuses and skull base at Northwestern Medical Center in Chicago. I believe that despite all the changes and challenges facing healthcare today, medicine is an honorable and worthwhile profession. I feel privileged to be providing high-quality care to my patients.
About my practice
I am a board certified head and neck surgeon. My area of expertise is surgical treatment of all diseases of the nose, paranasal sinuses, and skull base. I was an attending physician at a major academic medical center for six years, and I look forward to providing the same level of care to Kaiser Permanente members.
How I thrive
I am lucky to be married to a wonderful wife who is also a Kaiser Permanente physician, and I am a father to a beautiful little girl. I spend time with them as much as I can. I enjoy reading, collecting movie memorabilia, and all forms of digital interactive entertainment. I like to collect and build large LEGO structures. I recently finished building the 5,922-piece Taj Mahal, and the 3,428-piece Eiffel Tower.
