Kaiser Permanente physician
My gender: Female
Accepting new patients.
Hello. I am board-certified in family medicine. I've been a physician at Kaiser Permanente since 1995, and have worked at the Whittier Medical Offices since 2000.
I was born in California and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. I went to UCLA for my undergraduate education, and then went to medical school in New York. I’ve been a member of Kaiser Permanente for most of my life. My father was a Kaiser Permanente physician. When I came back to California, it felt natural that I join Kaiser Permanente, too.
Practicing medicine is a special opportunity to take care of people as thoroughly as I can. I try to address the care of the whole person— mind, body, and spirit. I strive to promote healthy living, including preventive care, in a compassionate way. I treat members as I would want to be treated myself or have a family member treated. I feel honored that members have entrusted me with their care.
I try to practice what I preach in maintaining a healthy lifestyle—I eat healthy food and exercise regularly. I enjoy playing tennis and going for regular walks with my son. Other hobbies include playing piano, going to the beach, and traveling. I also enjoy occasional trips to the snow with my son to ski, sled, or build a snowman.
