Kaiser Permanente physician
My gender: Male
Accepting new patients.
I hope you enjoy your visit to my Web page. It’s exciting to have this opportunity to share a little about myself with you. I’m proud to be part of the staff at Kaiser Permanente’s West Los Angeles Medical Center.
I am a native Californian and the first physician in my family. Seeing the different type of care my grandfather received in the last months of his life, mostly because he did not speak English, motivated me to become a physician.
My experience with my grandfather also influenced my philosophy of making cultural sensitivity a priority. As an extension of that, I feel that children and their families must have their race, religion, belief system, and sexual orientation respected and taken into consideration. From this, a true relationship between the physician and the family can develop—and compassionate care can naturally stem from that relationship.
I firmly believe life is too short! Staying healthy, living with an attitude of gratitude, and enjoying every moment encompasses my daily philosophy. I enjoy all forms of exercise and sports, especially swimming, biking, basketball, football, and jogging. Over the last five years, I have become a real endurance sports enthusiast. I have participated in multiple half marathons, triathlons (Olympic distance), one marathon, and one Tough Mudder. I look forward to more events in the future and have everyone join the fun.
