Where I practice
As a child, I always wanted to blend in. It was difficult as a Chinese person growing up in Mexico. I reluctantly learned Chinese from my grandmother who always said "If you don't speak Chinese, you don't eat.” Needless to say, I was a chubby kid. At 13 we had the opportunity to come to the US. Learning three languages and cultures has allowed me to understand and communicate more effectively.
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. Kaiser Permanente is a large organization with many resources. Its effectiveness relies on the accurate and effective communication between the member, the physician, and the organization. As a pediatrician, I try to communicate effectively with my patients and their parents in addition to learning about the resources in our organization in order to provide the best care.
About my practice
. I believe that if we are passionate about what we do, we will do it well. I also believe that as physicians we are given the privilege to help our patients to improve their health.
How I thrive
There is an intricate balance between the mind, the body, and the spirit. In addition, each nourishes the other. We keep the mind, the body, and the spirit healthy by challenging them. I am always faced with challenges each day in my office when I see a patient. I attempt to challenge my body by eating healthy and exercising. I challenge my spirit by doing community outreach. I hope these challenges will make me a better person and a better physician.
